Beverly Silva
Beverly Silva began her study of art with watercolor, and soon discovered her passion for collage and mixed media painting. Working in a semi-representational style, she uses shape and texture to intuitively build up images in her work. Beverly takes inspiration from both the urban areas and the coastline of her native Rhode Island. She also enjoys working with vintage books, deconstructing them to create contemporary abstract art.
She is an elected artist member of Art League Rhode Island, and a member of the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative, Warwick Center for the Arts, and the Attleboro Arts Museum. She frequently exhibits her work in group and open juried shows.
