Event FAQ
While service dogs are welcome, there are no pets allowed unless they can play an instrument!
Yes, you can park at the beach at the family concerts. Parking at the beach prior to 5pm requires a parking pass issued by the town.
Parking at the beach is allowed, but because parking spots are limited, we recommend parking at the town lot in downtown Wickford or at the High School at 150 Fairway Drive. Both lots are a ~15 minute walk from the beach. You cannot park on Boston Neck Road or Beach St. You are welcome to drop off people with mobility limitations, children, and supplies such as chairs and coolers at the beach before finding parking. Please consider carpooling with your friends or using alternate transportation such as bicycles if you are able!
No, in the event of rain, concerts are held at the North Kingstown Community Center, 30 Beach St (across the street from the beach). Please call the town at 401-268-1543 after 2:30 on the day of or check our social media for updates. Don’t let the rain keep you from enjoying the music!
NOTE: By attending one of our concerts, we reserve the right to capture and use photographs and/or video recordings of you and your party during your visit. These images may be used in promotional materials, including but not limited to, social media, websites, publications, and advertisements, without compensation or further notice. If you do not wish to have images of you or your minor children used by NKAC, please notify a staff member upon arrival. You may be asked to wear a designated sticker or take other steps to opt out. NKAC will make reasonable efforts to honor these requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from all background or crowd images.
